Thank you so much for doing the DVD and for sharing the pictures and stories
by email. I have never looked forward so much to opening emails and seeing
and hearing about our classmates.
I was born in Sarasota and continue to live in beautiful Sarasota. I grew
up on the north end of Siesta Key. I went to Southside, Sarasota Jr. High,
and Sarasota High. I attended Manatee Junior College for one year. I did
get my two year degree many years later.
I worked for a propane company for 27 years. I retired from there in 1994.
I have two children from my first marriage. My daughter is a teacher in
Pasco County.
My son lives in Sarasota and is an electrician. I am in my second marriage
since 1994.
We love boating and fishing. We usually make one trip a year to the Florida
Keys diving for lobster.
I try to walk at least four days at Siesta Beach. (A ten minute drive from
my home in off season.) My biggest hobby is sewing. I love making terry
and screen totes for gifts and sales at local craft fairs.
I know our classmates who have not been back to Sarasota or have not been
back for five or ten years will see great changes. Sarasota is still a
beautiful place to visit or live. Welcome to all who are coming in
