Slow to get going on this... We have been traveling (Just got back from
Sarasota, in fact) and I have forever put off digging out photos from
old, dusty boxes. So, short of old ones, here are some recent ones in
addition to my SHS annual photo: Then; now; the family (wife Barbara,
son Brian, daughter Jenna) being a little silly; Barbara and I at
MachuPicchu; me playing a guitar I had had built for me in Paracho,
México; me passing a bunch of younger riders ( :-) ) in a mountain bike
race; and Barbara and I in our plane over New Mexico. This is probably
way too many pictures from a guy who mostly kept to himself during HS,
but you can use what you want. And thanks for all the work you are
putting into this!
Barbara and I were both headed for California when we met on the beach
on Siesta Key. We are living in Idyllwild in the mountains of southern
CA, where we have been for 24 yrs., and have now been married for 42
yrs. We have two children who are doing well, but no grandchildren as
yet. After college (psychology and education) I had a career in special
education as a teacher and then director of a residential treatment
program, Barbara was a primary level and gifted-and-talented teacher,
and we both retired in 2007. Since then we have traveled, sometimes in
our own plane, and done other things too long put off. I am a classical
guitar "junkie", both playing and building them. And, while I was very
un-athletic during HS, I have been running, biking, mountaineering, and
generally finding ways to "play" in the outdoors since about age 34 and
I'm going to keep it up as long as I can! We hope to make it to the
reunion in October!
